McLaughlin Appaloosas & Quarter Horses

We have been raising these wonderful "hair" sheep for several years, and highly recommend them as a meat animal.  They do not have the lanolin that "wool" sheep have, and therefore no "muttony" flavor.  They are relatively parasite-resistant, do not need to be sheared, no tail-docking, and they usually have twins (sometimes triplets!).  They do not tame easily,though, and can jump about four feet in the air.  We have sold some bottle-lambs, however, which do make nice pets - awwww!
